About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified Immigration Lawyer (Residency Specialist) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for advising and representing clients in all matters related to residency and immigration law in Spain. This includes preparing and submitting visa and residency applications, guiding clients through legal requirements, and liaising with government authorities on their behalf.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
-Managing a portfolio of client cases from initial consultation through successful resolution.
-Advising clients on residency permits, visas, work permits, family reunification, citizenship applications, and other immigration-related matters.
-Drafting, reviewing, and submitting legal documents and applications to relevant Spanish authorities.
-Communicating with clients in both Spanish and English to provide clear explanations of legal requirements, procedures, and outcomes.
-Representing clients before administrative bodies and, where necessary, in court proceedings related to immigration matters.

Staying up to date with changes in Spanish and EU immigration laws and regulations.

This is a full-time, remote position that offers flexibility to work from different locations while maintaining close communication with the Artemis Law team and our international clients.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education & Licensing: Law degree and admission to the bar in Spain.

  • Specialised knowledge: Strong knowledge of Spanish immigration law, with practical experience handling residency permits, visas, and citizenship procedures.

  • Experience: General legal practice experience plus proven track record in immigration cases.

  • Languages: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Spanish and English (minimum C1 level in both).

  • Client service: Ability to clearly explain legal concepts to international clients unfamiliar with Spanish systems.

  • Representation: Skilled in negotiation, advocacy, and representation before Spanish authorities and courts.

  • Organisation: Strong project management abilities, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail.

  • Additional skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and a high degree of teamwork and collaboration.
